SkyShield is an advanced smart wearable safety device
designed to protect high-altitude workers
by enabling immediate fall detection and rapid rescue response.
The device features a mechanical separation mechanism that automatically activates upon a fall, detaching the red lower module from the harness
to trigger an alert. Once activated, precise location data is transmitted in real-time via Google Maps to pre-designated emergency contacts.
To ensure accurate localization even in GPS-challenged areas, SkyShield includes a built-in ultrasonic positioning system that provides secondary verification
of the user’s location. This dual-layer detection system increases rescue precision and significantly improves the survival rate by enabling response
within the critical golden time.
